Summer Intensive term is considered a regularly scheduled break. International students (e.g., students holding a study permit) are not required by IRCC to be enrolled during the Summer intensive term, and may choose instead to take the period off as a study break, during which time they may be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week.
Students who want to study during the summer period may choose to register for our Summer Intensive term, which runs on a condensed 7-week schedule. Fewer courses are offered during the summer as the period is a regular study break.
