Did you know that Summer Intensive session is considered a regularly scheduled break?
Yes! The Summer session is optional, and intended for students who want to catch up or stay busy during the summer break. During the summer session, not all courses are offered and seating is very limited.
As an International Student, am I allowed to Take a Summer Break?
Yes! International students (e.g. students holding a study permit) are not required by IRCC to be enrolled during Summer intensive session.
Instead, international students can take a holiday or may work off-campus up to 40 hours per week.
Taking summer break will not impact study permit status or eligibility for a post-graduation work permit.
