Alexander College students are required to use a computer with a webcam and mic to participate in class lectures and exams. A computer is also essential for writing essays and completing other course work. The Essential School Supplies link below outlines the minimum computer specifications to look for when purchasing a computer.
There are several retailers in Canada to choose a computer from, and many will ship to your home for free. In addition to everyday discounts and regular sales, many retailers will offer special online sales that coincide with annual holidays or traditional shopping days. Depending on the retailer, there will be sales on Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing day (and the following week) and other types of sales coinciding with holidays throughout the year.
