As the Burnaby campus librarian, I am here to help students learn how to conduct research for their assignments, including citation questions. To request a 1-on-1 session for research help, please book an appointment with me on WLC. For professors, I am happy to come to the classroom to do workshops and take recommendations for acquiring new materials for the library collection. My background is in History, specializing in Middle Eastern and Islamic History, with a B.A. from Simon Fraser University and in Geographic Information Systems with a diploma from BCIT. I would be more than happy to help you with any library services and or any questions you may have. As the Vancouver campus Librarian, I am here to help students conduct research, find and evaluate books and other materials, and help answer citation questions. I am happy to meet with students for one-on-one research workshops; students can book an appointment with me on the Writing and Learning Center page, or ask me in person at the library. I am also available for faculty to request classroom workshops and to hear recommendations for new materials that could be added to the library collection. I have a background in History, and I am excited to chat with students and faculty about their favourite historical novels.
