Textbook Buyback

Covid-19 Update: For the health and safety of all staff and students, the Textbook Buyback program will be suspended until campus facilities re-open.

What is Textbook Buyback?

Launched in 2017, the Textbook Buyback program is designed to create an affordable option for students purchasing textbooks. Students may submit their gently used, eligible textbooks to the Student Services Office at the end of each major term and receive a credit on their student account.
Previously owned textbooks will also be for sale at a discounted rate at AC Bookstore. This allows Alexander College to offer more affordable textbooks for that course next semester.

What textbooks are eligible?

Every term, eligible textbooks are selected from a rotating list of courses Offered at Alexander College. Once selected, Student Services publishes the list for each term, advertises online and does in-class presentations.

How much credit will I receive for my textbook?

The amount offered for each textbook varies but may be up to 50% of the original retail price. Prices will be posted as lists become available.

Textbook Buyback Conditions

Credit can be applied to future Alexander College textbook or merchandise purchases. Credit cannot be applied to Alexander College tuition payments and Alexander College Student ID is required to be presented at the time of Textbook Buyback.
