You are typically considered a domestic student if you are a:

  • Canadian citizen
  • Permanent resident

What You Can Study

University-level courses

Students may take first- and second-year courses (subject to prerequisites). Courses may be used for a range of academic purposes, including preparation for further study, completion of prerequisites, or transfer planning.

University Transfer (optional pathway)

Some students plan their coursework with the intention of applying to a university after completing a set of courses. Academic advising is available to support course planning.

Most Grade 12 applicants are assessed based on:

  • High school graduation (or expected graduation)
  • English Studies 12 (or equivalent)

Additional prerequisites may apply depending on course selection (e.g., Math or Sciences).

Mature applicants may be assessed based on prior education and course prerequisites. Documentation requirements vary by applicant background.

High school credentials are assessed for Canadian equivalency. Submit your transcript for assessment.

Submit college/university transcripts where applicable. Transfer credit, if applicable, is assessed separately and may require course outlines.
