WLC Workshops

The WLC offers workshops that cover a broad range of topics to help improve academic skills. Practicing these skills can help students do better on assignments, work more efficiently, and ultimately leads to greater academic success.

Here are some of the workshops we offer:

  • Cyber Safety Workshop
  • Email Writing Workshop
  • Microsoft Word Workshop
  • Academic Integrity Workshop
  • Citations Workshops

More details about the workshops are available on the Student Support page in Canvas. To find this page, you can also click on “Help” and “Student Support” after you open Canvas.

Workshop registration is done through WCOnline. Go to the 03 WLC Workshops schedule to see when each workshop is running. Please note that the WLC Staff do not conduct one-on-one workshops; if you book an appointment with them directly, your appointment will be canceled.

During the workshops, you can take part in engaging discussions and complete hands-on learning activities to improve your skills that will help both your studies and later career opportunities.

If you have questions, drop by the WLC or send us an email at wlc@alexandercollege.ca.
