Read ArticleAlexander College has always strived to give back to the local community as well as communities across BC. This is why the college is proud to announce a donation of $1 million dollars to the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation.
The VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation helps raise funds for not only Vancouver General Hospital, but for healthcare and services across BC and the Yukon. Over the years, this foundation has helped hospitals purchase equipment for better treatment and care, funding research, and more.
In particular, this donation will be going towards burn care initiatives that will not only benefit patients at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH), but also patients across BC. The funds will also help establish an outreach team that will improve educational efforts for burn care professionals around the province.
