Start your program at Alexander College and complete your four-year bachelor’s degree at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
A joint program is a formally structured academic pathway delivered through a partnership between two institutions. Unlike a standard transfer arrangement, a joint program is designed from the outset as one coordinated route to a single academic outcome. Students begin their studies at one partner institution and continue at the other within a shared academic framework, with clearly defined progression from the first stage of study through to degree completion.
Alexander College’s joint program partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University offers students a direct and well-supported pathway to a bachelor’s degree. Students complete the first 1.5 to 2 years of study at Alexander College and then continue at Kwantlen Polytechnic University for a further 2 years to complete their program. One credential, the bachelor’s degree, is awarded by Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Students apply to both institutions and receive dual admission, giving them a clear academic plan and greater confidence in mapping their studies from entry to graduation.
This pathway is designed for students who want a structured route to degree completion and who value both personalized support and long-term academic planning. It is especially well suited to students who wish to begin in Alexander College’s smaller learning environment before progressing to upper-level university study at KPU. By combining the strengths of both institutions, the joint program provides students with clarity, continuity, and a strong foundation for academic success.
