Bachelor of Business Administration in e-Business Management
A four-year degree combining comprehensive business education with specialized study in digital transformation, technology-enabled management, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI).
The Bachelor of Business Administration in e-Business Management (BBAeBM) is a four-year, 124-credit undergraduate degree that combines comprehensive business education with specialized study in digital transformation and technology-enabled management. The program prepares students to apply, evaluate, and manage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, that are reshaping how businesses operate.
Students progress from foundational courses to advanced coursework that develops practical and managerial skills in areas such as e-commerce, digital marketing, business analytics, digital finance, information management, and strategic decision-making. Attention to the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies further develops professional competence in areas such as privacy, cybersecurity, governance, and social accountability.
Applied learning is a defining characteristic of the program, emphasized in activities that involve industry-relevant software, case studies, analytics and database projects, digital workflow transformation, simulated e-commerce exercises, industry collaboration, and team-based problem-solving. In the final year, students demonstrate their integrated knowledge, practical skills, and employment readiness by completing a capstone course that comprises an applied research project and a professional portfolio.
Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to enter and advance in careers across the digital economy. The degree also provides a foundation for further study in business and related disciplines. The BBAeBM is authorized by the British Columbia Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills following review and recommendation under British Columbia’s quality-assurance framework for private degree-granting institutions.
