ACSA Election Process

The Alexander College Student Association (ACSA) is made up of 7 student representatives who work to improve campus life, plan events, and ensure the needs of the student body are heard. These positions are paid and offer you the chance to make a real impact on your college experience.

Available Positions on the ACSA Executive Team

  • President: Leads the team, represents students at events, and ensures ACSA goals are met.
  • Administrative & Finance Representative: Handles budgets and meeting logistics.
  • Clubs Representative: Supports student clubs and coordinates their activities.
  • Events Representative: Plans and promotes ACSA events.
  • Wellness Representative: Promotes health and wellness initiatives.
  • Sustainability Representative: Leads eco-friendly initiatives and sustainability programs.
  • Social Media Representative: Manages ACSA’s online presence and promotes events.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a current student at Alexander College.
  • Have a valid SIN and be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.67 or higher.
  • Be enrolled for the next 12 months at AC.
  • Can’t have any academic or behavioural misconduct or alert. 

Important Dates

  • Nominations Open: November 25 – December 6
  • Candidate Interviews: December 13 – 19
  • Campaigning Period: January 6 – 17
  • Voting Period: January 20 – 27
  • Results Announcement: January 29

How to Apply

  • Fill Out the Application Form: Submit your completed application to the Student Life Unit by December 6.
  • Attend the Interview: If your application is accepted, you’ll be invited for an interview.
  • Campaigning: Once selected, your team will campaign for the position.
