Subject Areas

Alexander College is proud to offer over 80 university level courses that transfer to other universities and colleges in the BCCAT system.

In addition, we offer a number of university preparation courses (English for Academic Purposes) for students who do not currently qualify for the language requirements of first year English courses.

Each year we aim to increase the number and diversity of our course offerings in response to our students’ interest and demand. We invite you to review our current courses, which are organized by subject area.

You will also find helpful information about each field of study and how it relates to your own academic and career interests as well as a list of professors who are teaching that subject. You will also be able to learn a little bit more about the faculty by reading their short biographies.

If you have any further questions, please contact one of our Enrolment Advising or Academic Advising staff for further information.

Alexander College acknowledges that the land on which we usually gather is the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work in this territory.
